HOW PEOPLE USE THEIR LEISURE TIME
Our special reporter, Rahmim, from the X Vision Channel in Cumilla on December 29: Leisure means having time off from work or school. There are lots of different ways that people enjoy their free time. People in the town, for instance, enjoy their free time by playing traditional games, watching puppet shows, listening to folk music, or snake charmers. For example, people who live in cities like to go to the movies or the theatre, watch TV, listen to Western music, and play cricket or other indoor games in their spare time. It is now cricket and football that most people in our country play.
Radio and TV are two of the most popular ways to pass the time. Country people in Bangladesh hold games like horse races, ha-du-du, dariabanda, mock fights, and stick fights in the late winter.
